Chat & Message Issues
Problem: Message Disappeared
Causes:
Browser connection lost during generation
Server timeout
Sync issue between browser and server
Solutions:
Refresh the page (F5 or Cmd+R)
Check if message appears after refresh
If not, start a new message
If happens repeatedly: Contact support immediately
Prevention:
Stable internet connection
Don't close tab during generation
For very long requests, break into smaller chunks
Problem: Chat Won't Load
Causes:
Browser cache issues
Connection problems
Server maintenance (rare)
Solutions:
Hard refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
Clear browser cache and cookies for lazylines.ai
Try incognito/private browsing mode
Try different browser
Check https://status.lazylines.ai (coming soon) for service status
Problem: Cannot Abort Generation
Current Limitation: The abort/stop generation feature is currently in development.
Workarounds:
Wait for generation to complete
Start a new chat if you need to ask something else urgently
Once complete, ask AI to revise the output
Coming Soon: Stop button will be added in upcoming updates.
Context Window & Token Limits
Problem: "Context Window Exceeded" Error
What This Means: Your conversation has become too long for the AI model to process. Every message, file, link, and response uses "tokens" (context space).
What Uses Context:
Every message you send
Every AI response
Files you upload
Links you add (especially profiles with 10-20 posts)
Brand Profile (when toggled on)
Solutions:
Immediate Fix - Switch to Gemini 2.5 Flash:
Click the model selector
Choose "Gemini 2.5 Flash"
It has 1 million token context window (massive)
Continue your conversation
Long-term Fix - Start New Chat:
Save any important content from current chat
Click "New Chat" or go to /new
Summarize what you need from previous context in first message
Example: "Previously we researched productivity content. Now I need scripts based on those findings: [paste key insights]"
Prevention:
Use Gemini 2.5 Flash for research-heavy chats
Start new chats for distinct projects
Don't upload unnecessarily large files
Turn off Brand Profile for simple questions
Problem: Response Gets Cut Off Mid-Sentence
Cause: AI hit its output token limit (maximum response length)
Solutions:
Ask: "Continue from where you left off"
Or: "Finish the previous response"
AI will pick up and complete
Prevention:
For very long content, request it in sections
Instead of: "Write 10 full scripts"
Try: "Write scripts 1-3" then "Now write scripts 4-6"
File Upload Issues
Problem: File Won't Upload
Common Causes:
1. File Too Large:
Current limit: 5MB per file
Check file size before uploading
Solution: Compress files, reduce video quality, or split into smaller parts
2. Unsupported Format:
Supported: CSV, Excel, PDF, PNG, JPG, SVG, TXT, DOCX, MP4, MP3, and most common formats
Solution: Convert to supported format
3. Corrupted File:
File may be damaged
Solution: Try re-downloading or re-exporting the file
4. Browser Issues:
Solution: Clear cache, try different browser
Problem: File Uploaded But AI Can't Read It
Possible Causes:
PDF might be image-based (not text-searchable)
File encoding issues
File is password-protected
Solutions:
For image-based PDFs: Use OCR tool first
For protected files: Remove password
Try uploading as different format (e.g., copy text to .txt file)
Link Processing Issues
Problem: "Failed to Fetch Link"
Common Causes:
1. Private/Restricted Content:
Profile is private
Post was deleted
Content requires login
Solution: Use public content only
2. Invalid URL:
URL is malformed
Platform not supported
Solution: Double-check URL, ensure it's from supported platform
3. Platform Rate Limiting:
Too many requests to that platform in short time
Solution: Wait 5-10 minutes, try again
4. Timeout:
Profile has too many posts
Processing takes too long
Solution: Try again or use a different profile
Problem: Profile Link Takes Too Long
Expected Time: 15-25 seconds for profiles (extracting 10-20 posts)
If It's Taking Longer:
Profile has many posts (processing more data)
Platform is slow to respond
Wait up to 45 seconds before considering it failed
If It Fails:
Try single post from that profile instead
Or use a competitor with fewer posts
Credit & Usage Issues
Problem: Credits Depleting Faster Than Expected
Check What's Using Credits:
High Credit Usage:
Using Claude 4.5 Sonnet or Grok 4 (premium models)
Long conversations with many back-and-forth messages
Processing many videos/profiles
Generating very long content (full scripts)
Solutions:
Switch to Gemini 2.5 Flash for research and simple tasks
Batch requests instead of multiple short messages
Be more specific in first request (avoid back-and-forth)
Turn off Brand Profile for non-content questions
Monitor Usage:
Check credit balance in Settings
Track which tasks use most credits
Adjust model choice accordingly
Problem: Reached Profile Analysis Limit
Limits:
Pro: 20 analyses/month
Business: 100 analyses/month
What Counts:
Each unique profile analyzed in Profile Analyst
Re-analyzing same profile counts again
Single post analysis does NOT count
Solutions:
Use Search in Inspiration page instead (doesn't count)
Add specific post URLs instead of profiles (doesn't count)
Upgrade to Business for 100/month
Wait for monthly reset
Strategic Usage:
Identify your top competitors
Analyze them once per month
Use individual post analysis for one-off research
