    • "How do they keep viewers engaged?"

    • "Write a script using their style but for my niche"

Competitor Content Strategy Analysis:

Add 15-20 posts to chat (mix of high and low performers), then ask:

  • "What's their overall content strategy?"

  • "What topics do they cover most?"

  • "What's their posting frequency pattern?"

  • "How has their content evolved?"

Similar Profiles Feature

Top Right Corner: "Similar Profiles"

After analyzing a profile, LazyLines recommends similar accounts:

How It Works:

  • Analyzes niche, content style, audience size

  • Finds profiles in similar space

  • Recommends accounts you might want to analyze

Why Use It:

  • Find competitors you didn't know about

  • Discover successful creators in your niche

  • Build a list of profiles to monitor

  • Get inspiration from multiple sources

Workflow:

  1. Analyze a known competitor

  2. Click "Similar Profiles"

  3. Pick 2-3 recommended accounts

  4. Analyze each one

  5. Add top posts from each to one chat

  6. Compare strategies across multiple successful creators

Profile Analysis Limits

Remember your plan limits:

  • Pro: 20 profile analyses per month

  • Business: 100 profile analyses per month

What Counts as an Analysis:

  • Each unique profile analyzed = 1 count

  • Re-analyzing the same profile later = another count

  • Viewing already-analyzed results = free

Managing Your Quota:

Strategic Approach:

  • Identify your top 5 competitors

  • Analyze them once per month

  • Save top-performing posts to chat

  • Use regular Inspiration Search for ad-hoc research

Business Plan:

  • With 100 analyses, you can:

    • Monitor 20 competitors weekly (80/month)

    • Or do deep-dive on 100 different accounts

    • Or research 10 profiles per week

Best Practices for Profile Analyst

1. Start with Top Performers in Your Niche

  • Find who has the audience you want

  • Analyze 3-5 top accounts first

  • Look for patterns across them

2. Analyze Regularly

  • Check competitors monthly

  • See how their strategy evolves

  • Catch new formats early

3. Don't Just Copy

  • Learn their patterns

  • Understand WHY content works

  • Adapt to your unique voice and brand

4. Compare Against Your Own Content

  • After analyzing competitors, look at your own performance

  • What are they doing that you're not?

  • What are you doing differently that works?

5. Use Similar Profiles to Expand Research

  • Don't stay in your bubble

  • Find new creators to learn from

  • Cross-pollinate ideas from adjacent niches

Workflow Example: Complete Competitor Research

Goal: Understand what's working in your niche and create a content plan

Step 1: Initial Research (30 minutes)

  1. Profile Analyst β†’ Analyze top 3 competitors

  2. Sort each by Most Viewed

  3. Click "Similar Profiles" on each, find 2 more accounts

  4. Now you have 5-7 competitor profiles analyzed

Step 2: Pattern Recognition (20 minutes)

  1. Start new chat

  2. Add top 5 posts from each competitor (25-35 posts total)

  3. Ask: "Analyze all these videos. What are the common elements in the highest performers?"

  4. Take notes on patterns

Step 3: Content Creation (15 minutes)

  1. In same chat, ask: "Based on these patterns, create a content plan with 10 video ideas for [your niche]"

  2. Ask: "Write a script for idea #1 in my style" (with Brand Profile ON)

  3. Save to Canvas

Total Time: ~65 minutes to go from zero to a research-backed content plan and first script
